From the moment you hold your baby in your arms, you will never be the same.

You might long for the person you were before.

When you have freedom and time.

And nothing in particular to worry about.

那個(gè)無(wú)憂無(wú)慮的你。

You will know tiredness like you never knew it before.

會(huì)有一種從未體驗(yàn)的疲憊。

And days will run into days that are exactly the same.

日復(fù)一日地綁縛著你。

Full of feedings and burping, Nappy changes and crying.

你不停喂奶，孩子不停打嗝，尿布換不完，哭聲永不斷。

Whining and fighting, Naps or a lack of naps.

寶寶哼哼唧唧，你戰(zhàn)斗不息，尿布要換啦，尿布又沒(méi)啦。

It might seem like a never-ending cycle.

日子啊，似乎是不見(jiàn)光明的單曲循環(huán) 。

But don't forget. There is a last time for everything.

但是別忘了。總有到最后一次的時(shí)候。

There will come a time when you will feed, your baby for the very last time.

會(huì)有一天，他們需要你，再喂最后一次奶。

They will fall asleep on you after a long day.

And it will be the last time you ever hold your sleeping child.

One day you will carry them on your hip then set them down.

And never pick them up that way again.

One afternoon you will sing “the wheels on the bus” and do all the actions.

Then never sing them that song again.

They will kiss you goodbye at the school gate.

The next day they will ask to walk to the gate alone.

后一天，他們上學(xué)時(shí)再不要你來(lái) 。

You will read a final bedtime story and wipe your last dirty face.

終有一天，你會(huì)最后一次給他們講完睡前故事，最后一次擦凈他們臟兮兮的小臉。

They will run to you with arms raised for the very last time.

他們會(huì)最后一次高舉著雙手朝你狂奔而來(lái) 。

The thing is, you won't even know it's the last time.

可問(wèn)題是，你也不知道到底哪次以后。

Until there are no more times.

老習(xí)慣就戛然而止。

And even then, it will take you a while to realize.
